Let’s get the semantics out of the way first. This is a one guy studio project and as such it may not be a band. It’s not a one man band because this requires someone who play several musical instruments simultaneously. This I do not. Solo artist doesn’t tic the box either. Anyway, I might refer to Exit Sanctum as a band because it isn’t really about me. It’s about making music.

Based in the southern parts of Sweden, inspiration comes in part from many months of darkness, cold, wind and rain. Mix that with the love of chord based rock and metal from the 80’s and you’ll have a good idea of where the sound of Exit Sanctum comes from.
